I welcome proposals for commissions, for both media projects and concert works. I am able to work to a variety of client needs, from mixing, MIDI realisation, and production services, all the way to full soundtrack commissions. You can listen to examples of my previous work on my soundtracks page, and check out my IMDB page for my full commercial credits. If you are in need of audio post production services, such as audio restoration or dialogue mixing, be sure to have a look at my post-production services too.
I ensure that all my final audio masters are delivered to you at a quality of 48kHz/16bit at minimum (or to your audio specifications), with the option for stereo, surround, or immersive delivery as required, and mastered to your broadcast standard of choice.
Precise budgets will vary based upon the individual needs of a project, and so please do get in touch to discuss a quotation. Nevertheless, as a guide, keep in mind the following potential factors when planning your music budget:
- Composition fee: the cost for actually having the music written
- Recording costs: these can include paying performers, score editors, and studio hire (n.b. this can vary widely depending on project specifics, but I always ensure my session musicians are paid at least the Musicians’ Union recommended rate)
- Editing and mixing fees
- Additional revisions to a cue beyond my standard three rounds of adjustments
